My Stupidity

I need to make a confession about my stupidity. Now before I do this, I did know better & I was just lazy, so don’t be leaving a bunch of hateful comments. Ok, here goes.

I bought my truck in July of 2004. Since then I have not changed my oil, (I know) I have added periodically, but never changed it. Well I hadn’t checked it in a while & I got this really bad feeling, call it an urgency to check my oil before the motor ceases up. So I go out last night & pull the dipstick (remember no comments now) & the oil barely shows up on the dipstick. The motor is bone dry. God has to be keeping the motor lubricated, because it sure as heck isn’t the oil. I kicked myself & chalked it off as a good lesson learned. I went into the garage & I was lucky enough to have a quart of oil so I dumped it in the motor & I can hear the oil dripping down & hitting the bottom of the oil pan. I think, man this is bad. I am glad that I listened & checked my oil, before God decided to no longer lubricate my motor & teach me my lesson the hard way.

My Thought Of The Day:

“Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.”
